These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Small World Platform and its tools (the “Service”), hosted at smallworld.tools and its subdomains and operated by Small World(“we”, “us”). By signing in and using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility and access
The Service is an internal suite of tools intended for authorised Small World staff. Access requires signing in with an approved Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that occurs under it. We may suspend or revoke access at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any policy of Small World;
- Attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the security or integrity of the Service;
- Upload or process content you do not have the right to use, or that is confidential to a third party without authorisation.
Google services
The Service uses your Google account for sign-in, and some tools can export their output to your Google Drive using Google’s per-file access (limited to files the Service creates or files you explicitly pick). Your use of Google sign-in and Google APIs is also subject to Google’s terms. Our handling of Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Content and intellectual property
Content you create, import, or generate through the Service remains the property of Small World or its respective owners. The Service itself, and the software behind it, are owned by Small World and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
AI-generated output
Some tools use AI to generate research, drafts, and other output. This output may contain errors or omissions and is provided to assist, not replace, your professional judgement. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on or sharing it.
Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Small World is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
